On Wednesday 27th January, Year 3 headed off to Creswell Crags to learn all about life in the Stone Age.

We learnt all about prehistoric animals and got to look at their skeltons whilst deciding whether they were herbivores, carnivores or omnivores.

After, we explored a real life Stone Age cave and were able to handle tools they used to keep themselves alive.

Finally, it was our turn to be scientist by testing various rocks for their properties. 

All of Year 3 had such a fantastic day and learnt so much about the Stone Age.
