ATHLETES IN THE MAKING!!!
Last week, lots of children took part in an athletics competition in a variety of track and field events. We had 10 children that were winners in their event which meant they went on to qualify for the finals. On Monday, these 10 children were representatives for the ‘West Bridgford family of schools’ and were competing against other children that were also winners in their events.
The children competed in a range of events such as; a short or long distance run, Javelin, Shot put and Long jump. All children that took part had a fantastic time and represented both the school and their family of schools brilliantly. Some children even came in the top three for their event and went home with a medal.
