2017/2018 HSA Calendar

The HSA meet throughout the year and hold many events.  Below is planned calendar for the 2017/2018 school year.  If you have any queries please speak to any of the HSA at school or send us an email

Macmillan Coffee Morning - TBC - KS1 Hall

AGM - TBC - KS2 Staff Room

Each year the HSA hold an AGM where the committee (Chair,  Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer) and active committee members are voted in.   This is an important part of the year and we need a certain number of non committee attendees to vote to ensure it is recognised.  Please come along and join us and meet the committee and also find out how you can be involved throughout the year

No Kids Allowed Disco - New for 2017 - Friday October 14th : 1930 - 2300

2017 should see the inaugural "grown up" disco for Heymann School,  watch this space for more news on this exciting additional to the HSA calendar

Autumn Term Disco - Friday 3rd  November - KS2

  • Reception and nursery will have their disco during school hours

  • Year 1 and Year 2 : 1600 - 1700

  • Year 3 and Year 4 : 1715 - 1815

  • Year 5 and Year 6 : 1830 - 1930

Helpers are always welcome at the school disco.  Either drop us an email at  hsa@heymann.notts.sch.uk or make a note on your disco reply form

Book Fair - TBC - KS1 Mornings after drop off,  KS2 afternoon after drop off

HSA Christmas Fair - Friday December 8th 2017 - all day KS2

We will be at KS2 all day and the children will all get a chance to visit the fair,  play games,  enter competitions (including the very popular chocolate tombola) and try the cake stall.  If you can help out please let us know

HSA Annual Quiz Night - Friday 19th January 2018 - KS2 : 1930 - 2300

Grab some friends and come along and join us in our annual quiz night.  There are prizes to be won and we have a fabulous compere for the evening.  Always a popular and competitive night and a great night out.

HSA Spring Term Disco - Friday March 23rd 2018 - KS2

  • Reception and nursery will have their disco during school hours

  • Year 1 and Year 2 : 1600 - 1700

  • Year 3 and Year 4 : 1715 - 1815

  • Year 5 and Year 6 : 1830 - 1930

HSA Summer Fair - Sunday 13th May 2018 : 1100 - 1400
