A huge well done to everyone who submitted their Teams assignments last week. The stories that you wrote about the mysterious house were so impressive and we are so lucky to teach such talented, hard-working story-writers! 

This week, we have lots more South America themed activities for you to complete, such as the animal collage and creating your own Deadly 6 using the Deadly 60 videos!

One of your Teams assignments this week is to use the text 'The Explorer' to complete some creative writing and comprehension activities. Remember, any Teams assignments need to be handed in by 12pm on Wednesday afternoon so that your teachers have time to mark them and give you feedback. See the video at https://vimeo.com/435007609

Your next Teams assignment is to look at a range of newspapers and label/highlight the features that you see in them. This will lead to you writing a newspaper report all about the missing explorer Percy Fawcett, who you have to research this week! See the video at https://vimeo.com/434442132

For some of you, this will be your last week of home-learning before you come back into school. We hope that the Zoom session last week made you feel better about coming in and addressed any of the worries that you might have.
