Today we arrived at school at 7.30am. We saw the Key Stage 1 children meditating during their assembly. We looked around the Key Stage 1 classrooms and saw the children eating breakfast. We watched some traditional food being made. It was called milk rice. It tasted delicious. Some Key Stage 1 children were having their vision, height and weight checked, just like at our school, but outside. We saw lots of things around the school to help the environment. There were recycling bins, composting bins, water tanks, plant growing, displays of work using recycled materials and leaves used on the tin rooves to stop the classrooms getting too hot. We spent quite a lot of the day teaching the children how to use the iPads. They were really quick learners and we will bring back some films they have made about their school to show at Heymann. We also saw a music lesson and PSHE. Tomorrow is our last day in school before we head home.
