Heymann Primary & Nursery School

Inspiring and motivating our children
to be the best they can be

Hello everyone,

Your Year 1 teachers hope that you are well and are still enjoying spending lots of time with your families. We are still amazed by the hard work that you have all been doing at home and we have been very impressed by your resilience! Don't forget to send us pictures of your brilliant work for the blog:

This week, you will be completing some maths and English activities, as well as some DT, Geography and music. We hope that you have fun and enjoy the work we have set. Part of your work will be based around the story of 'Oliver's Vegetables', follow this link for the story and other activities based around the book: http://www.lovemybooks.co.uk/olivers-vegetables

Well done again to all of those children that have been keeping up their reading at home, whether it's through Scholastic, Sora or your own books. Reading is very important and lots of fun so keep up the good work!

You will see on your mat that this week we have got a super fun whole-school activity for everyone. It is a ''Joy of Moving Festival' that lots of other schools around the country are taking part in so we hope that you can be a part of it. You will find more information below.

Best wishes,

The Year 1 Team x
