Inspiring and motivating our children
to be the best they can be

Hi Year 3,

Thank you for your continued hard work, we are all really proud of you.

We really hope you are enjoying the Amazon Diary book and all the work around it. This week we are reading the next part of the book and there is a video from Miss Penfold and some worksheets on different types of grammar to use when describing the jungle. Go and give it a go, here's the video link- https://vimeo.com/426188353

Maths is now going to be done online using White Rose. The link to the website is on the homeworking mats and all the worksheets and answers are in a new page in the corner of this page. We are starting the topic of fractions and will be using some of our division, multiplication and times table skills to help us.

On your mats is a DT task this week which focusses around creating your own hand puppets. Check out Mr Sills' video to see what you need to. It will be nice to see how creative you can be. https://vimeo.com/426176560

Mr Hill would love to see your football challenge entries. If you missed the challenge in the holidays you can have a try this week. Go back and look at the video from Chris Cohen to see what you need to do.

Did you know that it was World environment day on Friday 5th June? Some of the work this week is all about the Environment and what we can all do to help.

If you have been watching the news you may seen the demonstrations in American and this country. The picture news week is about that. Check it out and see if you can have some discussions with adults around what's happening.

It was lovely to see so many of you at our zoom meetings. Remember they are every week at the same time, using the same passwords and links.

Looking forward to seeing you, Miss Bradley, Mr Sills and Miss Penfold.
