Hope you all had a good Easter break and enjoyed some of the lovely weather. Did you manage to complete all of your Easter eggs on our activity sheet?  Hope you had fun with whichever you had a go at.

We have now set a new homeworking mat for this week and the focus has moved on to our new topic (That’s Entertainment) and our new science topic (electricity).  There are many tasks but some are 2 week tasks so try to spread your learning on these.  We hope you enjoy the new areas of focus and look forward to hearing whether you achieved your 20 stars.

Also, don't forget to keep listening to 'The Switching Hour'. A new chapter will be uploaded every day and it should be finished this week. We will be following this with an exciting new book to be read by Miss Bussey and Ms Nash so keep your ears open and listen in!

In case you missed this being added to the Easter activities, we have had a lovely idea sent in from a parent and we would like to suggest it as an extra activity that you could complete over the week. It is an Age UK letter-writing campaign to support people who are in hospital at the is time. The details are below (Letters for Lings Bar patients) and it would be lovely if you got the chance to write a letter and make someone at this difficult time very happy.

Don't forget to send us a photo of what you are getting up to and these will be put onto the Heymann blog every Friday. The email address is Thank you to those that have sent theirs in.

Take care year 6
