Heymann Primary & Nursery School

Inspiring and motivating our children
to be the best they can be

Thank you, once again, for all the support you have been giving over this half term. This is a very difficult time for everyone and we are so grateful to you for the hours you put in supporting your children with their home learning. We have loved seeing them every day in our zoom lessons, witnessing their enthusiasm and engagement, so from all the team THANK YOU.

We know that this is a demanding time for everyone and there is absolutely no expectation for the children to complete all of the tasks set each week. There are 2 activities that we would love to see if you are able to submit them on teams - Maths Winter activity 1 and concertina dragon.

The children who are in school will also be doing the same things as on the home learning mat.

These are the key things we are thinking about this week.

Safer Internet Day - Tuesday 9th February. There are some resources you might like to look at with your child at the bottom of this page. We will be focussing on Safer Internet Day with the children on Tuesday during our zoom session as well as in class. Feel free to read the Detective Digiduck story with your child. We will be using the Smartie the Penguin story during the zoom lesson. The whole school poster project is on our home learning mat as an activity.
