Well done for another super week of home learning! We have been so impressed with all of your hard work.
Thank you to everybody who submitted their homework to us on TEAMs last week. We really enjoyed looking over all of your wonderful work. If you haven't yet logged in to TEAMs and are a little bit unsure as to what to do, we have attached a 'Teams for parents' information sheet at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions about TEAMs or a piece of homework, please email us at year2-teachers@heymann.notts.sch.uk and we are happy to help. Please find below next week's teaching videos to support you in completing the assignments on TEAMs and submit by Wednesday evening at the latest. Please can you make sure that you press submit/turn in your homework, so that we don't miss anybody's work.
Thank you to everybody who has sent us a photo in their school uniform so far. This is part of a special project to try and create our very own class photos with everyone in it! If you haven't yet done so, please email these to year2-teachers@heymann.notts.sch.uk by Friday 26th June along with any photos you may have for the blog! We don't want anybody to miss out!
Now that we have finished reading Danny the Champion of the World, the votes have been counted and we are very excited to reveal that the next story we are going to be reading is... Planet Omar Accidental Trouble Magnet by Zanib Mian! Keep checking the Stories tab for new chapters of this and more short stories too!

You will also notice there is a new 10 a day tab on the right hand side of this webpage. We have done this to try and make the webpage as easy to navigate as possible for you!
We have attached a Joyful June document at the bottom of this page, it has some really lovely activities on for you to do each day, to help you to keep smiling.
Finally, for next weeks Zoom meetings, we are going to be doing another quiz! This means we won't get chance to hear from you all during the meeting, so please email us to tell us what you have been up to!
