In the unfortunate event where your child is isolating at home due to a positive covid test we have put together some resources for home learning. These can be used if your child is feeling well enough.

Once on the website chose your child’s year group. There is a daily program of relevant lessons, which reflect the national curriculum for their year, which they can follow whilst they are at home.

If they have their homework book at home they can complete the Oak Academy lessons in their homework book and bring it into school when they return. In at the back of their homework book are their passwords to other websites that the children use on a regular basis such as Times Tables Rockstar and Spelling Shed.

Attached to this email is also a link to Letterjoin for your child to practice their handwriting. A daily dose of any of these would also be of benefit to your child.

Please do not worry if your child can’t complete everything on the Oak Academy website. We understand it is tricky balancing homeworking and home learning at this stressful time. You can only do what you can do, and this is perfectly acceptable.
