The teachers in Reception this year are:

Ms Dyer (RP), Susan Watson and  (RL), Mrs Stables and Mrs Moss(RT)

Our support staff in Reception this year are:

Mrs Tranter, Mrs Siva, Mrs Heard and MIss Garton. On Wednesday mornings the classes will be taught by Mrs Foster (RP), Mrs Everitt (RL) and Miss Witney (RT)

We are all so excited to welcome you into Reception at Heymann.

Welcome

Over the next few weeks we will be sharing more information about our curriculum and routines in Reception. In the meantime, please feel free to email us at reception-teachers@heymann.notts.sch.uk with any questions or comments and we will get back to you.

Please keep returning to this page to check for updates. We will also be updating the Heymann blog with photos of the children and their work. 

PE

We ask that you send in your child's PE kit for us to keep in school. PE will take place on a Friday and children should come to school in their normal school uniforms. They will then get changed into their PE kit. 

PE kits should contain:

• A t-shirt in the colour of your child's school house. 
• Black shorts or tracksuit bottoms

There is no need to provide trainers in the autumn term as PE will take place inside. We will send PE kits home at the end of each half term.

Weather 

We will continue to have windows open to help the airflow and minimise Covid-19 risks. Please make sure your child is dressed for colder weather when appropriate and has a jumper or cardigan. All children have been provided with a sun hat which will be kept in school for them to use.
