In DT, we have designed and made our own healthy sandwiches. We thought about where fruits and vegetables come from and how they are grown, which food types we need for a balanced diet, and then we thought about the different ways of preparing food - cutting, peeling and grating! Finally, we talked about preparing food hygienically, washing our hands and the surfaces we are using when preparing food.
