What a brilliant day we have had! The year 2 children had a fantastic day at Crich Tramway Museum.
We travelled on an old tram, and we had to use half pennies to pay the conductor. He then gave us a ticket to show that we had paid the fare. We then went off the tram to explore the woodland trail which had lots of different wooden sculptures.
There were some brilliant experts at the museum to teach us about how trams have changed over time. Some of us even had the chance to dress up as a conductor or a driver.
We loved our sunny, outdoor lunch, and we even had a play on the park afterwards!
