This half term we have been focussing on Place Value using practical resources to support us. We have used base 10, also known as deienes and place value counters. Everyone is getting on really well with our do it activities and are showing a resilient attitude towards our 'Deepen it' and 'Twist it' activities.
Recently, we have move onto addition and subtraction and are still using Base 10 resources to support us. We have been adding 2 digit and 1 digit numbers and have now moved onto 3 digit and 1 digit numbers, crossing over a 10's barrier. Our Base 10 have really helped us with this understanding.
