This week we have really enjoyed our Jubilee Arts week and our focus have been the 80's era. 

At the beginning of the week, we explored the royal family and made a family tree to understand who everyone was and why the Queen came to the thrown. We then also looked at the Queens 70 year reign and plotted a timeline of key events. 

In art we have been looking at 80's music and designing our own record covers. We have listened to music on a record player and found out how difficult it was to play music the past. The children have also focussed on portraits of the Queen and had a go at sketching the mirror image. 

We have made crowns, learnt a Queen song and practice an 80's dance. We are looking forward to sharing all these with you on Friday.
