Science Investigation Week

This week is Science Investigation Week! Throughout the week we are doing an experiment for our states of matter topic, looking at how different temperatures around the classroom affect the rate of evaporation (in a cupboard, under the desk, by the door, by the window and by the sink). We weighed the 100g of water at the start and will look to see how it changes over the week!

On Tuesday, we had a parent visitor who came to talk to all Year 4 classes about her job as a food scientist! She told us about how rice cakes and popcorn are made and the science behind it. Some of us even got to try on the protective clothing food scientists wear! Thank you for coming in!
