4L had a fantastic time at Perlethorpe, introducing our first topic of Year 4... Anglo-Saxons!

We did three activities through the day! First we visited an Anglo-Saxon house and looked at artefacts. Afterwards, we built dens like the Anglo-Saxons used to do. We used sticks, logs, leaves and tarpaulin, to make them waterproof - we tested this too! Finally, we went orienteering around the grounds. All of 4L displayed good teamwork when building dens and orienteering and listened brilliantly throughout the day!

4L can't wait to learn even more about the Anglo-Saxons and apply what they have learnt today in their work!
