In Year 6, we have started looking at Giacometti and his sculptures. We explored his art and then had a go at drawing human form in different positions. Then, we used pipe cleaners and foil to practice manipulating wire and twisting it into human form and then wrapping it with foil. It was really fiddly but we were very resilient!
This week, we had a go at using wires and modroc to create our final Gicaometti sculpture. It was messy but we all really enjoyed it! Next week we will get to paint them!
