Heymann Primary & Nursery School

It has been a joy to welcome the new Year 5's into the classroom. They have settled in so well and enjoyed developing their creative skills through some fantastic poetry writing. We have commenced our maths learning, focusing on place value and rounding, and in science we have been investigating the properties of different materials, for example a scratch test to assess the hardness of materials. In PE, we have been practising for Sports Day and started our gymnastics learning. In Geography, it has been great to see how the children's knowledge of continents and oceans has been retained.
