What an amazing week for year 5! We should like to applaud the spoken English semi-finalists who were utterly brilliant and made choosing the finalists very challenging. We have commenced our talk for writing unit on 'The Gas Mask' and have thankfully made ourselves a protective mask to prevent us being at risk! In maths, we have been adding and subtracting fractions and in science, we have progressed our learning about materials. It was lovely to see those who were able to attend the sharing assemblies, thank you - a real treat for the children to share all that they have been doing.
