We have been getting festive in Year 5 this week - we loved wearing our Christmas jumpers to enjoy Christmas dinner on Tuesday. In maths, we have worked ridiculously hard with our fractions learning and in literacy, we have been progressing our skills as a reader and a writer in readiness for our portal story shared write. We have investigated historical artefacts from World War Two using the LACE technique (Look, Ask, Conclude, Expand) and really thinking like historians in this way.
