It has been lovely to welcome the Year 5's back after the half term break. This week, we have focused our English learning on persuasion tools and our maths learning on percentages and linking fractions, decimals and percentages. In science, we are learning all about the movement of the moon and in DT we have commenced our skills focus ready to make a shelter in a couple of weeks. We have finished our Ancient Greeks learning this week and will begin our new topic (Marvellous Maps) next week.

The first 20 Spelling Bee words have been launched and we look forward to seeing how many children wish to take part.
