This week is our Talk for writing invention week and we have focused this on the Wishgranter. The children have loved considering their wishes and creating poetry about the Mirror of Wishes and the Mirror of Despair. We visited year 2 on Tuesday to share our work and consider what wish we needed to solve various problems. We have also made our own wishes and thrown them into the wishing well, with lots of magic and hopes! Having planned some dreamcatching tools, our talented Year 5's have written a persuasive text to tempt you all to buy their tools.

Also this week, we have released our final butterflies and completed our topics learning about mountains, focusing on how to stay safe when climbing a mountain.
