What a space-tacular week we have had this week! Tuesday was our space day, when we invited the Stardome into school and enjoyed time inside, understanding so much more about our night sky and where we fit into the universe. The day also included moon jumping, augmentifying planets, creating planetary flip books, speaking like a space expert and making our star sign constellation. The children worked so hard and were beautifully behaved.
In English, we have been learning about persuasion tools (including making Miss Bossy raps!) and in maths, we have focused on finding whole numbers and starting to use decimal places.
In history, we have learnt about the entertainment legacies that the Ancient Greeks left us, including the Olympic Games and then, the finale to the week, was the H factor heats - well done to all that took part.
