It has been lovely to welcome back the Year 5's after the half term break. We have started our new Talk for Writing unit, all about the settings toolkit for a warning story. In maths, we are learning about perimeter and we have made our Scitech straw planes. For our DT work, we have practised our skills at making a wooden frame by: sawing wood, sanding it down and glueing it carefully. What a great first week back!
