As part of our 'Rock On' topic this term, we have been looking about how people lived during the Stone Age. Our lesson this week focused on how houses during the Stone Age advanced from caves to permenant homes that included furniture. The children have had the chance to make their own Neolithic Stone Age houses out of salt-dough which they all thoroughly enjoyed! They all worked as a team on their tables to include a different part of the house, including fire pits, passageways, beds, shelves and pottery. The children put their all into this lessons and they came away with a fantastic understanding as to how housing changed over time during the Stone Age.
