This week, we have been lucky enough to have a Stone Age explorer come to visit us for the day! We have learnt all about how things changed from the Stone Age, through the Bronze Age and into the Iron Age and we have even found out the best way to catch a woolly mammoth! Also, we have handled some real a Stone Age artefacts, including a mammoth rib and a mammoth tooth and had a guess about what some Stone Age tools might have been used for. In the afternoon, we all had a go at making our own Stone Age jewellery out of salt-dough. The Year 3's have shown lots of enthusiasm and have represented Heymann fantastically. We are really proud of them!
