The girls football team took part in a girls football tournament on Saturday and did Heymann proud. They made school history by getting to the semi finals! 

The morning started off with a 4 group games, where we won 3 and drew 1 of them, scoring in every game. All the girls showed true determination and perseverance and gave 100% in every game. It came down to our last group game to decide if we had gained enough points to get into the semi-finals. 

We met St Edmund Campion A team in the semi finals. The girls were tired after a long morning but still gave everything they got. Unfortunately, we lost the game but no girls team at Heymann have ever reached this far in a tournament. 

The girls should be so proud of themselves and for representing their school.
