Hello Year 5,
Well, we have finally made it to our last week of lockdown before we return to school, which I am sure we are all very relieved and happy about. We just want to say how proud of you all we are, in terms of your commitment to your learning and the work that you have produced. For the final week, we have added an extra optional activity to the timetable that you may want to do in order to prepare and think about coming to school. We will also talk about these in the zoom meetings to make sure everyone is feeling happy about returning and sharing any questions / worries that you may have.
The zoom sessions will continue on a daily basis at 14:30 and you will be sent the details to make sure that you get the correct meeting. Just remember to make sure that you sign in with your first name or at least a name that the teacher will recognise. If you do not do this we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed to enter into the meeting (following the link we supplied previously doesn't allow you to change your name on entry soyou have to enter the meeting ID and password).
Please scroll to the bottom of this page for this week's timetable of activities. Don't forget the sub-pages (on the right-hand side) for each of the areas of learning with all of the resources you will need. Can we also just remind everyone that you do not need to print worksheets etc off. You can just write answers in your books and use the resource templates as a guide. We have also made some videos (on the relevant sub-pages) to support some of the work that you are doing this week.
For the final week, there is only an assignment for Monday and Wednesday. The task will be highlighted yellow on the learning grid so that you know which one it is and we have also added a Teams logo just to make it even clearer. Can we just point out that the English work this week will continue when we are back in school so can everyone please make sure that this work is all completed.
As always, if there are any questions please email us email@example.com
