Welcome back Year 2!     We hope you all had a lovely, relaxed and safe half term!

We have so many exciting things happening this half term and we are looking forward to seeing all your lovely faces again on Zoom. There is a new timetable at the bottom of this page for this week's tasks. You will also find some more information below about this week. 

Zoom

Monday - Friday, 10.30am-11.15am. Group A will be taught by Miss Kavanagh this week and Group B will be taught by Miss Handley. Children in school will be taught by Miss Whitney. Our focus on Zoom this week is as follows:

Monday - English

Wednesday - English

Thursday - Science

Friday - Weekly Quiz

**Please remember to mute yourself once you have finished speaking to the rest of the group to avoid disrupting the lesson for others**.

Teams Homework

Please submit by 8pm and teachers will return feedback by 3pm the next day (Monday for work submitted on Friday). **If work is submitted late we cannot guarantee that it will be marked.**

Thank you to those children who have been submitting assignments to us on Teams. There is only one assignment set this week due to parents' evening.

Listen to Miss Kavanagh read 'Conker the Chameleon' below. Miss Kavanagh chose this story because it links in with Inside Out Day (Mental Health Day) before half term. Conker the Chameleon teaches us that it is important to always talk about how we feel on the inside. You could then have a go at completing the activity - My ChaMEleon tree at the bottom of this page.
