Our vision at Heymann Primary and Nursery School is for all children to foster a passion for music, embracing the diversity of musical influences represented in our school community. Following the National Curriculum for music, learners at Heymann will experience music lessons that teach them to perform, compose, transcribe and describe music. At Heymann, there are four key values that drive our whole school curriculum; Diversity, Emotional Intelligence, Creative Thinking and Community. Our music curriculum is designed to foster the children’s development of musicianship whilst making links to these four curriculum drivers.
