PowerPoints and activities on this page focus on:
- The long /ay/ sound and when to use ai as in snail or ay as in play
- /oy/ and when to use oi as in coin and oy as in boy
- Long ea as in beach and short ea as in head
- Phase 4 tricky words
Practising any or all of these is useful revision and children can then be encouraged to follow the rules they have learned when spelling words with these graphemes.
