As part of the final year in Primary School, the children will have a series of assessments known as Standard Assessment Tests (SATs). These are designed to find out if children are on track to meet the expected standards in English and maths as set out by the government.
We work hard to ensure that this is as positive an experience as we can make it for the children whilst still understanding they they want to do the best that they can on these assessments.
Attached below are two documents. One gives you more information about the assessments themselves and one tells you about how the results will be shared at the end of the year and what they mean.
As always, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact the year 6 team year6-teachers@heymann.notts.sch.uk
