Welcome back to home learning for the second half of the Spring term.

We know that this is a demanding time for everyone and there is absolutely no expectation for the children to complete all of the tasks set each week. 

The children who are in school will also be doing the same things as on the home learning mat.

These are the key things we are thinking about this week.

Book of the week: Jack and the Beanstalk

Reading: Please give Bug Club a go - Can you earn some coins and get some prizes? Also keep going with phonics play flash cards.

Maths: Ways to make 9 and 10. Don't forget to have a go at NumBots too.

English: Retelling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk and drawing a story map of the main events in order. Learning key words and looking at the story language used.

Communication and Language: Re-telling the story of Jack and the Beanstalk 

Creative: making puppets, printing with leaves.

Phonics - introducing air, er and y (at end of words)

Understanding the world:  staying healthy, looking at different seeds
