For Massive Maths, Year 4 learnt all about budgeting and managing money. Each child was given a career and then had to work out what house they could rent, the food they could buy and the transport they could afford within their budget. The children enjoyed making decisions and solving problems as they balanced their spending, ensuring they still had money left in their ‘bank accounts’. It was a fantastic real-life maths activity that helped the children understand the importance of making sensible financial choices. Well done, Year 4!
