In order to recap on our history topic from the Autumn term about the Industrial Revolution, children from year 6 travelled to the Framework Knitters Museum in Ruddington. They learnt about the important role people in our local played in the development of the textiles industry. We explored the homes of the workers, saw how a framework knitting machine worked and even had the opportunity to create their own piece of knitwear.
