This week we’ve been learning all about trolls, and the children have absolutely loved it. They shared ideas about what trolls look like and what kind of personalities they might have. We made our own trolls from salt dough and even created a troll house for them to live in. In art, we used watercolours to paint troll hair. The children tried out thin and thick brushes and enjoyed seeing how different the strokes looked. To finish, we wrote a five‑sentence story inspired by The Three Billy Goats Gruff.
