This year for Invention Week, our inspiration came from a piece of music. The children began by creating mind maps, exploring what the music made them think and feel, which led to a range of imaginative and creative ideas. We then connected these ideas to our recent suspense unit, using them as a foundation to develop dramatic freeze frames that captured mood, tension, and storytelling. The children then used these ideas to create a piece of artwork!
