Our First PE

The children have worked incredibly hard during their first PE lessons and we are so proud of them!

We started by practising how to line up sensibly and walk safely to the hall. The children listened carefully to instructions and did a fantastic job of using the space around them safely and respectfully.

During our lessons, we have been learning different ways to move our bodies and how to travel safely without bumping into others. The children enjoyed exploring a variety of movements, including walking, running, hopping, jumping and skipping around the hall.

We also had lots of fun playing The Traffic Light Game and What’s the Time, Mr Wolf? These games helped the children practise listening carefully, following instructions and controlling their movements.

It has been wonderful to see the children’s confidence grow as they become more familiar with our PE routines. They are learning important skills such as spatial awareness, listening, balancing and moving safely in a shared space.

Well done, Nursery! We are looking forward to seeing the children continue to develop their physical skills and confidence throughout the year.
