For our last lesson of our geography rivers unit, we used all we had learnt throughout the topic to make our own model river! We used sand, foil and rocks to represent our river. We made sure the river’s banks didn’t burst by making a strong channel with the foil and wide flood plains. We made sure the source was high as we knew the upper course is very steep and some even added meanders to the middle course!.
