This week in Nursery we’ve been enjoying the first signs of British spring. The children have been looking closely at our local environment, spotting blossom, new shoots, brighter skies and listening for birdsong. We talked about how our surroundings change at this time of year and why spring is such an exciting season.

As part of our learning about celebrations, we also explored how Easter is celebrated. The children looked at some of the traditions linked to Easter and shared what they already knew. To finish the week, we took part in a very exciting Easter egg hunt! The children showed brilliant teamwork, curiosity and enthusiasm as they searched high and low for the hidden eggs.

It’s been a lovely week of outdoor learning, seasonal discovery and lots of smiles.
