This week, we have been looking at how magnets have 2 poles and the children explored what happened when they tried to get the poles of 2 magnets to touch. We found that if we put 2 of the same poles together, we could feel the magnets repelling from each other and when we put 2 opposite poles together, they would attract. We needed to remember the words poles, attract and repel so we did a matching activity to remember the definitions
