Over the past few weeks, Year 4 have thoroughly enjoyed exploring electricity as part of their Science topic, with a particular focus on creating circuits. This week, the children investigated the role of switches within a circuit and learned how they control the flow of electricity. To deepen their understanding, they designed and built their own homemade switches using paper clips, split pins and cardboard, applying both scientific knowledge and practical problem‑solving skills. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm, creativity and teamwork throughout the lesson!
