As part of our English instructions unit and to introduce our Harvest topic, the children made Stone Soup. Don’t worry, there were no actual stones in the soup! Stone Soup is a traditional fable that teaches the importance of sharing, kindness, and working together.
The children each helped to prepare the soup by carefully chopping a vegetable and adding it to the pot. To finish the activity, the children enjoyed tasting the soup and were excited to discover how all the different ingredients came together to make a tasty meal!
