To end our Digestive System and Teeth unit, Year 4 carried out a fascinating investigation to explore how different drinks can affect our teeth. We placed eggshells, which are similar to tooth enamel, into a range of liquids including water, milk, orange juice, Coca-Cola and vinegar. Over time, we observed the changes to the eggshells and discussed what this might tell us about the impact different drinks can have on our teeth and the importance of making healthy choices.
